White Board Chat:
Fun one from CrossFit.com back on May 7th! This one is about accumulating as many reps as we can. The loading for our dumbbell deadlift should be light, relative to our ability and something that we could perform over 20 reps unbroken on. We can perform this with one dumbbell, two dumbbells, or a barbell if you have one, just keep the weight light – we should be able to manhandle this! Our push up option should be something that we should be able to maintain at least consistent sets of 5 on. Depending on our current capacity for push ups, we can modify this in a multitude of ways (see below for specifics). Go get it!

Modifications

ALL BODYWEIGHT OPTION
5 Rounds:
1 minute good mornings
1 minute push ups
– no rest in between rounds
– score = total reps

1. Dumbbell deadlifts
– Scale the load to allow us to perform at least 20 unbroken
– If we have an injury or limitation that prevents us from pulling from the ground, perform good mornings

2. Push ups
– If we are working on our capacity to perform push ups off our toes, perform either: wide-stance, kipping, knee, or push ups off an elevated plane like a box or bench
– Scale to an. option that will allow us to accumulate at least 15-20/minute
– If we have an injury or limitation that prevents us from performing push ups, perform floor presses with a single dumbbell on the good arm
